Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal details Cobra IPTV Official receives when you use this website, the free-trial form or WhatsApp, what we use them for and the choices you have.
Some details on this page are still being finalised. They are marked “To be provided” and will be completed before this policy takes effect. Questions in the meantime? Message us on WhatsApp.
Effective date: [To be provided: date these policies take effect]
1. Who is responsible for your data
This website and the Cobra IPTV service are run by [To be provided: legal name of the person or company that runs Cobra IPTV Official], [To be provided: registered or postal address]. For any privacy question or request, contact us on WhatsApp at +44 7575 804383. WhatsApp is our only contact channel.
2. Browsing this website
- No cookies, analytics or advertising. This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts. All its pages, images and code are served from the website itself.
- One browser setting. If you open WhatsApp from our pop-up or the floating WhatsApp button, your browser remembers that choice for the current browsing session only (in “session storage”), so the pop-up is not shown again. It contains no personal details, is never sent to us and is deleted when you close the browser tab or window.
- Hosting. Like any website, the server that delivers these pages processes technical data such as your IP address and the pages requested. Hosting provider and what it logs: [To be provided: website hosting provider and what it logs (for example IP address and request time)].
- Links to other websites. Our guides link to other websites, such as device makers’ help pages. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
3. The free-trial form
The “Get Free Trial – 5 Hours” form asks for:
- your phone number and its country code (required), so we can contact you about the trial;
- your name (optional).
Your number is checked for the right format in your browser before anything is sent. When a request is sent, it also includes the page address it was sent from and the date and time, which help us handle your request.
At the moment online trial requests are switched off: the form checks your number in your browser but does not send it anywhere. Instead, it offers to open WhatsApp so you can send the request yourself, as described below.
4. Contacting us on WhatsApp
Our WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp (or WhatsApp Web or Desktop) with a message already typed for you, for example the plan you chose and its price, or a free-trial request. If you filled in the trial form, the prepared trial message also includes the name and phone number you entered. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp, and you can edit or delete the message first.
When you message us, we receive what WhatsApp shares with any contact you message:
- your WhatsApp phone number and, depending on your WhatsApp privacy settings, your profile name and photo;
- the messages, photos and other content you send us.
We use them to answer your questions, handle trial requests and orders, and provide support. WhatsApp is a service of Meta and processes your messages under its own terms and WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
5. Orders and payments
Orders are placed by WhatsApp. The order details you send us, such as the plan, device count and price, are used to set up and manage your subscription. Payment methods and who processes payments: [To be provided: accepted payment methods].
6. Legal basis
[To be provided: legal basis for processing personal data under the law that applies to you]
7. How long we keep your details
[To be provided: how long trial requests, WhatsApp conversations and order records are kept]
8. Who else receives your details
Only the services described above: WhatsApp for messages, the website host for technical data, and the trial-request service once online trial requests are switched on. Other recipients, if any: [To be provided: any other recipients of personal data (for example a payment provider), or “none”].
9. Your rights and choices
- You can use the website without filling in the trial form or contacting us.
- You can edit or delete a prepared WhatsApp message before sending it.
- You can clear the session setting at any time by closing the browser tab or clearing site data.
- Your data-protection rights and how to complain: [To be provided: data-protection rights that apply (for example access, correction, deletion) and any authority visitors can complain to]. To make a request, message us on WhatsApp.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the way we handle personal details changes, for example when online trial requests are switched on. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
